Who is ready for the summer, and, dare I say it, SOME SUN!? I feel like a mushroom, living in this cold and damp. Our final meeting before our summer break will be on Wednesday June 21 at Lucky Bones, one of my favorite spots. I am not sure if our Illustrious Potentate and Lady Nancy will be in attendance, but I spoke with Illustrious Sir Jerry this morning and he informed me that he will be coming down.
As far as our summer break, it is really just a break from our monthly meetings. We are planning on quite a few paper drives to follow up on the momentum from our first drive. Also, there will be a ceremonial at the Shrine Circus on June 22, and the Crescent Shrine Pig Roast and BBQ.
On a sad note, we are losing a valued Noble and Brother. Noble John Coyle has informed us that he will be demitting from Crescent Shrine and our club. It seems that his “cable tow” is starting to stretch. We all know that feeling. John is a great Shriner, and Mason, who was always, and I mean always there to lend a hand. Let’s all wish Noble John the best. He will be sorely missed.
choices will be cuban rubbed pork chop, salmon, and i believe some sort of chicken. cost of 30$ camels milk at 6 and dinner at 7. we will be making this meeting a casual one aswell. again shorts and Hawaiian shirts or which ever casual attire you wish to wear. we will also need to vote for our next president as it was john.
